9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
Event Date: 2009-09-11

Firefighters, police officers, and safety personnel who served or lost their lives during or in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks upon the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the crash-landing of hijacked Flight 93 in Pennsylvania will be honored during the ceremony.  The victims of the attacks will also be remembered during the event.

Councilman Griffin to hold community meeting about traffic cameras

Ward 3 Councilman James Griffin has announced that he is holding a community meeting this Tuesday, March 17th at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the City’s proposed traffic enforcement camera system. The meeting will take place at the Westminster Community Church, which is located at 171 Aultman Avenue N.W.

Zero tolerance enforcement reduces Canton crime by 14%

Canton schedules public education meetings for traffic cameras

Downtown parking to improve

CANTON, Ohio - Canton City Council has approved a request by Safety Director Tom Nesbitt to increase parking meter rates in the downtown area for the first time since 1984.  The move, which is designed to increase the availability of parking downtown by discouraging all-day parkers, passed in two readings Monday night.
