Canton Community Improvement Corporation

Purpose/Duties
The sole purpose of the CCIC is to advance, encourage, and promote the industrial, economic, commercial, and civic development of the community.

Meeting Times
Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 AM in the Canton City Hall 8th Floor Conference Room.

Appointment Process
Members are appointed by the Mayor. Council confirmation is not required.

  • Two elected or appointed City officials
  • Two members of City Council
  • One representative from the Chamber of Commerce
  • One local labor representative
  • Three local business persons

Members serve without compensation
