Mayor's Scholarship Program
About this Program
An educated population is critical to the future of our city in a global, information-based economy.
If young people are given an opportunity to further their education and gain the skills they need to become successful in the community, they are more likely to remain in Canton to live, work, and raise a family after graduating from college.
That is why – in conjunction with several state and local colleges and universities – Mayor Healy has created a scholarship program to provide assistance to graduating high school seniors who live within the City of Canton and want to make a difference in their community.
