Boards and Commissions
Board of Park Commissioners
Purpose/Duties
The Board of Park Commissioners controls and manages parks, children's playgrounds and public baths, and all improvements, acquisitions, construction, repairs and maintenance thereof.
Meeting Times
The Board meets the second Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. at the Canton Garden Center.
Appointment Process
Members are appointed by the Mayor. Council confirmation is not required.
