Weddings, photo sessions and receptions are often held in Canton Parks. Celebrate your wedding at the perfect Canton Park venue! Our indoor and outdoor options can accommodate various sized groups.
Although weddings and wedding photographs are private affairs, when held in a public park we ask couples, attendants, guests, and photographers to conduct their ceremony and photographs in a manner that does not impact or deter the general public's enjoyment of our parks.
We strongly recommend a site visit prior to making plans. Please note that reservations are strongly recommended to avoid conflicts. Park properties are often host to a wide variety of events and may have limited vehicle access during large events. Canton Parks host holiday lights in Stadium Park. The lights will be on display after November 1st through mid January and may impact rentals or use of the garden center exterior. A holiday tree is also in the main tree of the garden Center during this time.
Small, informal wedding ceremonies with no set up currently require no reservations. Weddings that will require anything beyond a normal picnic shelter reservation, should complete the public event request form. This will allow our staff to prevent any conflicts and provide an enjoyable atmosphere.
The Canton Parks are free and open to the public from dawn until dusk daily. Wedding photos can be taken at any of our parks on a first come, first serve basis. Photo Sessions at the Garden Center can be reserved with an outdoor reservation in one of our four zones and will have priority.
Picnic Shelters - Visit our shelter rentals page to view the shelters and choose one that will meet the needs for your group.
Indoor Picnic Shelter - Garaux is our only indoor shelter.
If you would like to use a park for an outdoor wedding reception (example tables and chairs, etc) , please complete the public event request form.
Please note that any weddings for use of the McKinley Monument, you must contact them directly at 330-455-7043.
