CANTON, Ohio — 

Beginning on November 21st, and continuing thru November 30th, the Canton Police Department will increase traffic enforcement patrols in the City during the Thanksgiving Holiday time period. The Police Department will be focusing on speed, occupant restraint, and other dangerous driving violations.  The enforcement goal is to reduce traffic related fatalities and injuries by encouraging motorists to buckle up and slow down. 

Funding for this blitz is made possible through a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
