VXI Global Solutions Celebrates the Hiring of 1,000th Employee

CANTON, Ohio —

VXI Global Solutions President, David Zhou and Vice President, Greg Ouimet will join Canton Mayor William J. Healy II, Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President, Steven J. Katz, Director of Community and Economic Development, Fonda Williams, and members of the Canton community to celebrate the hiring of VXI’s 1,000th employee on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. at VXI 401 Cleveland Avenue NW in downtown Canton.

“The hiring of the 1,000th employee reaffirms not only the city’s ongoing commitment to VXI, but its overall commitment to the economic rebirth of downtown Canton. VXI continues to be a partner in the progress of moving the city forward,” stated Canton Mayor William J. Healy II.

In hiring its 1,000th employee in just over a year’s time, VXI Global Solutions continues to advance job growth in Canton through valuable career opportunities for local residents and both strategic and economic partnerships with the city and Chamber.

“We are elated that VXI has hired its 1,000th employee. This is a tremendous accomplishment and we are proud to have them in our city,” said Economic Development Director Fonda Williams, adding, “We felt confident that VXI would experience swift growth.”

As the company continues to recruit, train and place employees at the Canton location, building expansion projects continue which will accommodate an expected 225 additional employees. Greg Ouimet, Vice President, stated, “The first floor renovations are almost complete.”
