CantonWiFi - Troubleshooting

We're under construction!
As of July 15, 2009, the CantonWiFi system is still in testing/installation phase.  Accordingly, access to the Internet may not be available via the network at all times.  Please be patient as we complete this process!

When the network has finished the testing/installation phase, a list of frequently asked questions will be posted here to help you resolve your technical issues.  Generally, the only system requirements include a wireless Internet access antenna (IEEE 8011.b, g, n- compatible) and a standard Internet browser (Internet Explorer 8 or Mozilla Firefox are recommended).

To find out if your computer is equipped with a wireless Internet antenna, please check the documentation that came with your computer.  If your computer is not equipped with a wireless Internet antenna, you may be able to purchase one from any major electronics store (Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.) that will work through any standard USB port.

Please note:  We will not provide technical assistance for your specific computer should we determine it to be the cause for connectivity issues/failure.
