Income Tax Board of Review
The Board hears appeals made by any person dissatisfied with any ruling or decision of the City Treasurer. The Board, on hearing the appeal, has the jurisdiction to affirm, reverse, or modify any ruling, decision, or assessment.

Investment Board
The Investment Board establishes policies and procedures concerning the deposit and investment of interim monies.

Neighborhood Commission
The Commission was originally established by Executive Order 2011-001, and enacted on February 14, 2011. Executive Order 2016-001, enacted on April 27, 2016 reaffirmed and amended the purpose and membership of the Commission.

Parks Commission
The Board of Park Commissioners controls and manages the Canton City Parks and Recreation, children's playgrounds and public baths, and all improvements, acquisitions, construction, repairs and maintenance thereof.

Planning Commission
The City Planning Commission reviews any general neighborhood renewal, urban renewal, or urban redevelopment plan filed with City Council.

Records Commission
The functions of the commission shall be to provide rules for retention and disposal of records of the municipal corporation, and to review applications for one-time disposal of obsolete records and schedules of records retention and disposition submitted by municipal offices.

Systems Planning Board
The Systems Planning Board serves as an advisory board to the Department of Management Information Systems.

Tax Incentive Review Board
Annually, the Tax Incentive Review Council reviews all agreements granting exemptions from property taxation and any performance or audit reports required by those agreements.

Tree Commission
The Tree Commission has been created in the interest of the residents of the City to promote and protect their health, safety and welfare by adopting a comprehensive tree plan.

Zoning Board of Appeals
The Board of Zoning Appeals has the following specific duties to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an error in any order, requirement, decision or determination made by the Zoning Inspector.
