Mayor, business leaders meet with state development officials in Columbus

Wal-mart to donate lawn care equipment to neighborhood groups

City Development Director Robert Torres announced Friday that Wal-Mart has agreed to donate twelve (12) lawn mowers and six (6) weed eaters to the Stark Community Foundation’s Neighborhood Partnership Grant Program.  Neighborhood association members will use the equipment this summer to help the City maintain vacant homes and empty lots before they become overgrown eyesores.

Zero tolerance enforcement reduces Canton crime by 14%

Canton schedules public education meetings for traffic cameras

Massive crime enforcement effort produces results

CANTON, Ohio – Police arrested 39 individuals for charges ranging from drug possession to drunk driving last weekend in a cooperative effort that saw 51 officers from 3 separate law enforcement agencies patrolling Canton streets over a four-day period.  These statistics, which were released by the office of Mayor William J.
