Is the garbage pick-up supposed to happen at its proper time this week?: Garbage is usually picked up on its normal scheduled, weather permitting, advanced changes in the schedule can be found at the Sanitation Department’s Holiday Schedule. Most changes to the normal schedule are also posted on the main page of the City’s website just prior to the event. For safety reasons pick-up will not take place when the weather is determined to be dangerous.
