Canton Police join local departments, federal agents for “Operation Falcon”

CANTON, Ohio – In conjunction with the United States Marshal's Office, the FBI, and law enforcement agencies throughout the Stark and Summit County region, Canton police assisted in the arrest of 47 individuals who had outstanding warrants over a five-day period at the end of last month.  The effort,  code-named “Operation Falcon,” was conducted from June 23 to June 27 and included members of Canton's VICE squad and the Gang Task Force.

McKimm said that the overall goal of the program was to target dangerous felony warrant suspects, which were 39 of the total 47 arrests made during the five-day operation..  The remaining 8 arrests were for misdemeanor offenses.
